I supported 30 dental clinics across the province of Quebec. I was also supporting the on-site staff at the company's Headquarters. My work consisted of taking calls from these clinics and HQ who were in need of IT Support. I was also responsible of setting up accounts, computers and equipment for the new staff.

I offered support to internal employee, in a IT helpdesk style. I was responsible of both level 1 and 2 support. I set up new computers for the employees. I was responsible of onboarding new employees, showing them around their new computers and answered any questions they had about it. I worked mainly with Macs but also supported a dozen windows computers.
I was also responsible of the inventory made sure we had enough equipment on hand , at my arrival there I sorted, labeled and documented where the everything was since there was no system in place.
I was also asked to begin documenting procedures and processes, to streamline our service and assure no stones were left unturned.
LG2 Montréal

At LG2 I experienced what internal IT Support was like for the first time. It is also where I started properly supporting Apple devices. In my past experiences any Mac that we would stumble upon at a client was like a Unicorn. My colleagues wouldn't touch it with a 10FT pole but I did not really mind. Anyhow... I digress
At LG2 I managed a Google environment, one I did not encounter before. We had over 500 users and machines across 3 sites. LG2 really made me fell in love with Internal IT.

At Alt I had the privilege of being able to support diverse environments. From the latest version of Windows server to Windows server 2008. I did a lot of remote and on-site support, I was often asked to go out on the road to support client at their place of businesss. I was at one point responsible of doing the monthly maintenance of our client's servers. From time to time we planned the migration of a client infrastructure, it was a learning experience each time and at some point I was tasked with setting up my first Microsoft 365 tenant.

Girafe was my first on-hand experience with IT Support. They took me in for my last internship and afterwards I started working there full-time. I had the chance to interact and support different infrastructures.This is where I took part in my first client migration and got my first on-the-road experience.
